Snip...Snip...Snip

I decided that I needed a bit of a style change recently and thought about getting my hair cut. I wanted to do a fun, short style but was real anxious about chopping off my hair. I went to my friend, Amy, who does fabulous hair and decided to throw caution to the wind and chop it. I ended up having enough to donate it for Locks of Love....10 whole inches! At first I was super nervous about it but have decided I really like it.
The first thing Sadie asked when I got home was "Hair...Go?" It was pretty funny, she kept looking for my hair.

Spring Special

I am currently running a "Spring Special" on decorative plates. There are two quote options available which are "Spring has Sprung!" and "Hippity Hoppity Easter!" There are three plate colors available, pink, baby blue or lavendar. The two fonts are Kristin (shown on pink and blue plates above) and Juice (shown on lavendar plate above).
The prices are $6.00 for one plate or 2 for $10.00.
I am doing these plates for my wards Super Saturday and they really are super cute! If any of you think that your ward would be interested in making these, please let me know!

COLOR TEST

Take this test!
You're a bold, confident orange. A warm, powerful color that indicates a strong, welcoming personality, orange is the mark of people who are social and extroverted by nature. Vibrant, with an upbeat attitude, you have a bright, inviting demeanor. Energetic and fun-loving, you're a real friend-magnet. Your easy charm and unassuming manner make you the sort of person people want to meet and get to know better. Well-rounded and fun to be around, you enjoy helping others, so it's no surprise that orange also symbolizes attraction. Orange is an extraordinary color — for an extraordinary person.

Love is in the Air!!!

Sadie and I decided to start working on her Valentine's Day cookies for her teachers at school. She likes to climb up on the counter and help put things on trays. She helped me place the cookie dough (yes....it is store bought) on the tray and decided to snack on a piece herself. She is a great little helper!

STRIKE!!!!

Last night we got together with some of our friends. We went down to Salt Lake to have dinner at L & L's Hawaiian BBQ. Sadie and Porter entertained all the other quests there while we ate, we should have started people for the free entertainment. We went bowling afterwards and I think I got beat by two little toddlers. Porter and Sadie had a fun time bowling although Sadie just wanted to run all over the place.

Another Tag!

I got tagged again...I will be a good sport and participate.

1. Ten years ago I was: I would have been a sophomore at Clearfield High anxiously awaiting my birthday in March to get my driver's license. I most likely was creating chaos in some classroom.
2. Five things on my 'to do' list today: Take a nap, Straighten up my house, cook a lovely spaghetti dinner, help Sadie with her Valentines and work on some vinyl signs
3. Things I would do if I became a billionaire: I would pay off my house as well as my moms, buy Charlie an Escalade, go on a shopping spree, travel and adopt lots of babies from other countries.
4. Three of my bad habits: Swearing, Road Rage and Eating out too much!
5. Five places I've lived: I have only lived in Utah, but I have lived in different cities. Clearfield, Ogden, Riverdale and Layton
6. Five jobs I've had: Sandwich artist at Subway, Certified Bra Fitter (dont laugh) at JcPenney, Birth Certificate Clerk, Receptionist and Personal Assistant. The Birth Certificate Clerk was by the far the greatest!
7. Something most people don't know about me: I only have one kidney.......just kidding. I dont really know the answer to this...I am not a private person. However, I do have this secret desire to have my own legal show like Judge Judy.

Sleepy Sadie

For the new year, I made a goal to start doing FHE with Sadie. It has been a challenge previously because Charlie works every Monday night, but I really wanted to start the tradition. Last night we decided to talk about exercising our bodies and we went swimming. Sadie had so much fun and demanded to keep going down the big yellow slide. After about the tenth time of climbing up the stairs, I was so tired! I guess I needed the lesson on the importance of exercise! I wish I had half the energy that Sadie has. She literally wore herself out.
