For the past week, we have been working on getting our garden done and we finished it up this afternoon. It was a lot of hard work, but we are excited to see how our fruits and vegetables do. We made two different garden boxes, which turned out to be great for planting.

While Charlie and I worked on the garden, Sadie wanted to bust out her flower sprinklers. We put her in her swimsuit and she had a blast running through the sprinklers. Who knew a little water could keep a three year old entertained for hours???

Carrie-we planted grapes, strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, peas and pumpkins....I am most excited about the pumpkins!
Love it! You guys are so good to do that. Food never tastes as good as when you grow it and prepare it yourself!
Wow, way to go. It almost makes me want to get up early in the morning and garden...almost. :)
I'm jealous. WE planned to do boxes but never got around to it so instead I planted whatever I could wherever I could. It is totally haphazard and who knows if anything will grow. Yours looks much better!
The garden looks fabulous! Sounds like you planted lots of yummy stuff! Did you end up deciding to stay where you are? I know you were looking at a house down the street.
Your garden boxes are awesome! It looks like such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I love the pictures of Sadie in the sprinklers with that green grass! You will have to give us an update in a while!

Love the garden. We have gotten into growing things too. But we have no idea what we are doing, so some stuff worked, and others just died. You'll have to keep updated on how everything does.
