Our Independence Day was fabulous! We had a great time at the Layton carnival, a BBQ at my moms and experienced the awesomeness of the Clearfield fireworks. Sadie enjoyed all the festivities, especially the sno-cones and cotton candy at the park. Sadie also got her face painted for the very first time...she has a "thing" about people touching her face and we were very surprised she allowed it to be done. She had them paint butterfly wings and it turned out very cute. She refused to let us wipe it off and even tried to talk us into letting it stay on her face for church.

Last week, we headed down to Vegas to visit my sister and her family for a couple of days. It was a lot of fun and Sadie was in heaven being with her three cousins. Of course, while we were there we had to go to a "Vegas" buffet and we were not disappointed, especially Charlie who smiled more than he did on our wedding day when he saw that sushi was part of the buffet. The lack of sleep was well worth the fun we had.

Sounds like you guys have been having a ton of fun! A Vegas buffet sounds so good right now, but I don't know about the sushi! lol. I love Sadie's cute butterfly wings from getting her face painted! SO CUTE!!!

Because we're in Vegas so often to see my in-laws, I've taken to exploring other restaurants while Sofi and his crew are destroying whatever hapless buffet they descend upon. Glad you enjoyed your trip down there.
