A friend of mine from HS, just became the Marketing Director of a local home builder and in order to get their name out there has been doing daily and weekly contests on Facebook. In April, they announced they were giving away 4 season passes to Lagoon! We always get season passes, but they can be expensive. The contest was to have your kids draw a picture of their dream home. Sadie has a little painting studio in our basement and she went to work to paint her dream house. The contest was during a very difficult week for us (future post to come) but the contest helped keep her mind off things. She finished her painting right before the deadline and posted it to FB.

The following Monday, we got a phone call saying Sadie had won! The timing could not have been better and gave us something to smile about after a week of tears. Sadie was so excited and her picture now proudly hangs in Henry Walkers gallery.

We went to Lagoon a couple weeks later and the kids had a blast. Sadie can now go on the "bigger" rides and Brigham could ride the little car ride all day. Its hard to get a good picture of the two of them, these are the best I could get. I am sure there will be many more pictures to come, we will be spending a lot of time there this summer and fall.
