CARSLAND

Our goal on day three at Disneyland was to spend the day in the new Carsland and ride the amazing Radiator Racers. The long for that ride was ridiculous and Fast Passes were usually gone by an hour after opening. We decided to forget the Fast Passes and run to Carsland first thing and get in the line before it was too long (the previous days we were there it was over a two hour wait). Apparently, everyone else at Disneyland had the same idea and it was chaotic. We decided to have Charlie and Sadie wait in line and I would take Brigham around to find Lightening McQueen and Mater. They ended up being in line for about 45 minutes and just before they got to the front, the ride broke down. Luckily, they gave him a Parent Swap pass and we were both able to ride it with Sadie once it started up again without any wait. It was breathtaking, exhilarating, awesome, creative and just plain amazing. You actually ride in a real car and race other cars and go throughout Radiator Springs.
The whole concept of Carsland is awe-inspiring. It is so identical to the movie and you just cant help but smile while you are there.
Some pictures of our day in Carsland.

Getting ready to ride Luigi's Flying Tires

We spent the majority of the morning in Carsland and then spent the rest of the day kind of taking it easy and finishing up the things we hadnt had a chance to see or do.

Being silly waiting in line
After our third day, we were ready for some down time and relaxation. Three full days at Disneyland can seriously kick your butt!
