Last night as I heard the news of the passing of our Beloved prophet, I was bombarded with a number of different emotions. There was sadness, joy, and an overwhelming sense of respect. I will miss listening to his extraordinary testimony during General Conference and seeing his smiling face. Presiden Hinckley was the prophet for most of my life and I have grown to truly love this man. Some of my favorite memories of teaching Sunbeams involved the lessons about the prophet and Gordon B. Hinckley. I loved to hear the conviction of these young children when they spoke of President Hinckley.
President Hinckley has done a tremendous work while on this earth and I know that he will continue to. His vision of expanding missionary work and building temples was amazing. His love for different cultures is quite humbling. He traveled to so many different countries to spread the good news of the gospel and his passing will affect millions worldwide.
What a glorious reunion there must of been when President Hinckley was reunited with his sweetheart Marjorie. I loved to listen to him talk about her, he held her in the highest esteem.
President Hinckley will be missed greatly, but we all know he is in a better place. His great legacy will continue to live on through the hearts of all the Saints. We love you President Hinckley!
