Play date was fantastic today! We went on a tour at Great Harvest Bread and then went to the library for storytime. We had to be to Great Harvest early so we could watch them make the bread but it was worth it. We started the tour by reading the book, "The Little Red Hen." After reading the book we headed back to where all the bread magic happens. We learned about wheat, yeast, and honey and how they are important to the bread making process. Afterwards, we got a yummy piece of cinnamon bread. It was such a fun little trip and best of all it was free.
We then headed over to the library for storytime. The kids werent too pleased with the idea of sitting still but they were good for the most part, us moms had a few laughs here and there watching our wiggle worms.
Sadie and I love play date and we always have so much fun with all of our friends!

I'm so glad that you had a good time at Great Harvest. It really is a great little tour and they are so good with the kids. We are going again in Feb. because we liked it so much. I hope Sadie is feeling better in the ear department.
I love the smell of Great Harvest. Sounds like a very fun play date.
Amber told me what Kaydence did at the library for story time. All I can say is thats my niece and I would have been in tears too :)
We had so much fun! I'm glad you are full of such good ideas and wonderful things to do! The kids were a hoot! We seemed to have the most active of the bunch!
That looks like it was so much fun! I need to start doing more with my kids, I should have that be my new years resolution :]
How did you go about setting up the tour of Great Harvest? I would love to do that with my kids and a few friends. Let me know when you get a minute. Thanks!
