School Days

Today was Charlie's first day of Graduate School. He had two different classes today and he seems really pumped about them. I asked him if I could take a traditional back to school picture picture of him, you know the one like when you were little, your new outfit, new shoes and back pack. I got the big N-O on that request. Sadie and I dropped him off today and I must admit, a few tears were shed. We have been waiting for this day for so long and it has been somewhat of an uphill battle. I am so thankful for this opportunity and I know that Charlie is going to do wonderful things. We are so proud of him.

I on the otherhand am having a few withdrawals. It is weird for me not to be going to school, I almost just want to take a couple of classes just to stay in the swing of things.

Sadie starts school next week and she is very excited. We found her a fantastic preschool here in Salt Lake. She is going to be in the Panda Bear class. We will miss her old Montessori preschool and all her friends there, but we know she will thrive in this new place. She has such a love for learning and likes to be around other kids. We took her to Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago so she could pick out a little lunch box. She went straight to the Disney Princess one and every day since she keeps asking where it is (I have been hiding it until the big day arrives). My little family is growing up!
